I hold a bachelor degree from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and a masters degree from Stockholm University, Sweden. Currently I live at Chania in Greece and work remotely as a Software Engineer. Most of the time I am working on back-end services using Microsoft technologies (C#, VB.net, ASP.NET Core, .net Core, WebAPI) but not limiting myself to those and I am also using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis and whatever tool, language or technology is more appropriate for each use case. I have worked on many websites and services that many people are still using everyday.
I am an early adopter, I opend my first web page using a USRobotics on a dialup connection (9600Kbps). I got my first mobile phone back in 1994!! It was an Ericsson GH 218 I like travelling a lot, especially by car. I like fast cars/motorbikes/ribs, everything that can release my adrenaline. I like the sea, I like swimming, diving, sailing just everything related to sea. I have been hacking hardware and waste time since I was a young kid. I speak English, Swedish(bara lite), Greek and Pontic Greek, originally spoken in the Pontus area on the southern shores of the Black Sea. I like reading, I read a lot, I like learning new stuff. I love technology, and everything related to that. I am fascinated by finance and supporting the FIRE movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early)
My main belief is that “Imagination is more important than knowledge…” - Albert Einstein.
That's me, today. I'll be different tomorrow, hopefully better.
